Hi there!

My name is Amanda Martin and I am a travel advisor with Mayfair Travel, as well as a travel blogger for my blog, Vista al Mar Travel. I love helping others discover their passion for experiencing new places and sharing my own adventures with my readers.

I have over 10 years in customer and client service and am excited to use that experience to plan my clients’ family vacations, especially when it comes to cruising(my family’s personal favorite way to see the world).  

Though newer to the travel advising world, I am no stranger to travel. My love for adventure started at a young age when I began to learn about my family heritage and where my ancestors came from. I would daydream about one day visiting the places my great great grandparents once lived.

In college, I had a new experience with travel when I went on my first service trip to Nicaragua. This encounter with a culture that was so different from my own changed the way I saw the world and how I wanted to experience seeing the world in the future.

When I met my husband, I discovered yet another new way to travel: cruising! As a stay at home mom who does all of the cooking, cleaning, organizing, and planning I absolutely love the cruising experience where someone takes care of me for a change.
